Medicare Callous (callus), pads provide protection for callouses and other painful areas of the feet. Pain associated with a callus, wart or other condition can prevent a person from living a full life. It can greatly inhibit ease of mobility, as friction can worsen the callous and cause pain and discomfort with each step. The Medicare Callus pads provide a barrier between skin and foot and greatly reduces pain.
A callus is an extended area of thickened skin mainly on the soles and heels of the feet. Calloused skin forms wherever the skin is exposed to pressure and friction over a longer period of time. The outer layer of the skin, the epidermis, reacts by building up and forming calloused skin in layers.
In most cases, calloused skin is painless. Once exposed to excessive and constant pressure, it can also get worse and crack. Thickening of the affected areas can lead to painful and incommoding callus formation.
Using Medicare Callous Pads is an easy way to take pressure from the affected area. We aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Orders placed by 12:00 PM on a working day are dispatched the same day on Royal Mail 24 service.

While this service targets delivery within 24 hours and the vast majority of our parcels arrive the next working day, please note that this is an estimated timeframe and not a guaranteed arrival date. Royal Mail 24 may occasionally take 1-2 working days during peak periods.

For orders placed after 12 noon Monday to Friday, and anytime at weekends, we would aim to dispatch the following working day (Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays).

International Orders

Allcures does ship overseas, but decisions are made on a per-order basis. The delivery charge will depend on the size and weight of the parcel.

Most orders will be sent by Royal Mail Air Mail ‘International Signed For’ post – a signature will be required on receipt. Alternatively, heavy parcels will be sent by DPD or Fedex within Europe, again a signature will be required on delivery.

Deliveries to the Republic of Ireland are classified as Air Mail by Royal Mail and DPD or Fedex and are subject to different tariffs. You will be contacted by Customer Services on Air Mail delivery charges.

We use several carrier companies, including Royal Mail, DPD and Fedex.

When ordering goods from Allcures for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Allcures, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact our Customer Services at customercare@allcures.com or by telephone on +44(0)1708 859750 stating the items you wish to return, name and contact details, within 30 days. Return the goods to us in the exact condition in which they were delivered. Certain items cannot be refunded or exchanged unless faulty or sent incorrectly: for instance condoms, medicines or foods. We recommend using Recorded Delivery when returning products. Your statutory rights will not be affected. If we are in error we will refund the delivery charges.

Payment

You can pay online using our credit and debit card secure payment scheme. Payments are processed by SagePay. A list of the cards which we accept is shown on the checkout page as well as on the bottom of all pages.  Allcures has also implemented Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode also known collectively as 3D Secure, both of these schemes require the card holder to provide a password which is authenticated with their servers, before we can proceed with the payment process. A form will popup on the screen asking you to autheticate using a password. If you have not already enrolled you will be asked to enroll in the service.
