Use LP advanced level supports for extra protoection to injured area and to help shorted recovery time. Pads, straps and specific materials are featured for pain relief or budy alignment following injjury. Special design of advanced level supports may also improve sport performance and assist joint movement.
LP Ice/Hot Pack may be used for both cryotherapy and thermal therapy. Ice therapy reduces inflammation following injury or surgery. Thermal therapy helps promote soothing relief from tired, aching, injured muscles.
Indications: To reduce swelling, relieve pain from headaches, relax tight joints or ease arthritic pain.
For Cold Therapy: Place gelback in freezer for at least two and a half hours. Remove from freezer and place gelpack in LP Wrap or towel before applying to the injured area. Gelpack stays flexible at subfreezing temperatures to conform to injured area. Store in freezer when not in use.
For Heat Therapy: For maximum effectiveness, bring 3 quarts of water to a rapid boil and remove from stove. Place gelpack in water for 8 to 10 minutes. Place gelpack in LP Wrap or towel before applying to injured area.
For microwave use, place gelpackin a microwavable container and cover with water. Heating time may vary depending on wattage. Heat water with gelpack at full power for two minutes (time based on 600 watt microwave). Remove and test before using. If additional heating is required, heat in 15 seconds intervals. Place gelpack in LP Wrap or towel before applying to injured area. Return to freezer once gelpack has cooled. NEVER heat LP Ice/Hot pack without covering with water.
Warning: Use as directed. Always use LP Ice/Hot pack inside of a cloth cover. Direct application of gelpack to skin could cause burns or frostbite. This gelpack is not to be used on persons with poor blood circulation or loss of feeling in the skin.
