Adults: 2 tablets to be sucked or chewed as required, up to a maximum of 16 tablets a day.
Children 6-12 years: 1 tablet as required, up to a maximum of 8 tablets a day
Children under 6 years: Not recommended
Rennie Ice can be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding if taken as instructed.
Like all medicines, Rennie Ice can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Side effects are unlikely at the recommended dose. Very rarely, rashes, swelling or shortness or breath may occur. If you experience these or any other unusual side effects after taking these tablets you should seek the advice of a doctor or pharmacist.
Do not take Rennie Ice if you:
-have severe kidney disease
-have high calcium levels in the blood
-if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients
-Do not exceed the stated dose.
-Rennie Ice should not be used for prolonged periods.
-Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any kidney problems
-This product contains sucrose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product.
-If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
Taking Other Medicines
-Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
-If you are taking antibiotics (tetracyclines, quinolones) speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Rennie Ice because it can affect how these medicines work.
-To maximise the benefit of all medicines being used, take Rennie Ice 1 to 2 hours after taking any other medicines.
