Dosage: Adults and children 12 years and over: Chew one or two tablets of Remegel as symptoms occur.
Repeat hourly if symptoms return, up to a maximum of 12 tablets in a 24 hour period. Not recommended for children under 12.
If you accidentally take too many tablets in 24 hours seek medical advice.
Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist.
Do not exceed the stated dose except on medical advice.
Before taking:
Have you ever had a reaction to Remegel or to any of its ingredients?
Do you have kidney disease, diabetes or hypercalcaemia (too much calcium in the blood)?
Are you pregnant? Are you taking any other medicines, particularly tetracycline antibiotics or digoxin? Are you on a special diet or have severe dietary problems e.g, malnutrition or phosphate deficiency?
If you answer yes to any of these questions talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. If you are taking medication, or are under a doctors care, consult him before using.
Remegel may be unsuitable in patients with an inherited intolerance to sugars.
Remegel contains glycerol which can be harmful in high doses. It can cause headache, stomach upset and diarrhoea.
Side effects: Constipation or belching.

Each tablet contains: Calcium carbonate USP 800mg. Other ingredients include: sugar, sorbitol, colourings (E171, E131, and E104), butylated hydroxyanisole, amerfond fondant sugar, glucose, hydrolysed milk protein, gelatin, cornflour starch, glycerol, ,hydrogenated vegetable fat, peppermint oil, menthol, talc, purified water.
For Diabetics: Each tablet contains approximately 2.5 g of carbohydrate. Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25 C. |
