These suppositories contain zinc oxide to reduce swelling and the overall size of piles, while lidocaine serves a local anaesthetic to help relieve itching and general discomfort.
1 Gently clean and dry the area around the back passage.
2 Tear down on the notch to remove one suppository from the strip.
3 Peel the wrapping apart to remove the suppository.
4 Insert suppository (round end first) into the back passage.
5 Wash hands.
Adults and Children aged 12 years and over:
Insert one suppository into the back passage when you go to bed at night and in the morning, preferably after a bowel movement. If necessary Germoloids Suppositories may be used at any time during the day with a minimum 3-4 hours between suppositories.
Do not use more than 4 Germoloids Suppositories in any 24 hour period.
Not recommended for children under 12 years.
