Cystopurin is for the relief from the symptoms of cystitis. When should Cystopurin not be used? Do not use if you have kidney disease. How should Cystopurin be taken?
Cystopurin is taken as a drink.
For adults including the Elderly and Children over 6 years :
Take the contents of one sachet dissolved in a small glass of cold water, (200ml), three times daily for two days. All six sachets must be taken to complete the course of treatment.
Cystopurin is not recommended for children under 6 years. In case of overdose seek immediate medical attention.
Each Cystopurin sachet contains 3g of the active ingredient :
Potassium Citrate BP. In addition each sachet contains Mammitol, Citric Acid, Aspartame, Natural Cranberry Flavours (Flavours contain Cranberry extracts with sugar and Ethanol).
Contains a source of Phenylalanine. Harmful for people with Phenylketonurea.
Potassium Citrate helps in the relief of the symptoms of cystitis by making the urine less acidic therefore relieving the discomfort caused by acid urine.
