For the control of the symptoms of allergic conditions which include: Hayfever, food allergy, urticarial (nettle rash or hives), hypersensitivity to certain drugs (eg penicillin), serum sickness (a reaction to serum), insect bites nasal congestion with runny nose and fluid build up in the tissues below the skin (commonly of the face or throat).
Tablets for oral use.
Dosage: Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: 1 tablet four to six hourly, maximum of 6 tables per day.
Children: Not recommended for children under 1 year. 1-2 years: ¼ tablet twice a day. 3-5 years: ¼ tablet four to six hourly, max ½ tablets daily. 6-12 years: ½ tablet four to six hourly, max 3 tablets daily.
Do not exceed the stated dose.
Do not use during pregnancy without your doctor’s advice.
Warning: May cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcoholic drink.
Each tablet contains Chlorphenamine Maleate 4 mg, also contains lactose
