Benadryl One A Day offers once daily relief from hayfever year-round allergy symptoms such as itchy or watery eyes, sneezing and a runny nose. This medicine also provides relief from the symptoms of Benadryl One A Day.
At the recommended dose, does not cause drowsiness in the majority of people. However/ as with other antihistamines, rare cases of drowsiness have been reported. If affected do not driv or operate machiner. As with all antihistamines, you should avoid excessive alcohol consumption when taking this medicine. Each tablet contains: Cetirizine hydrochloride 10 mg.

As with all medicines, if you are pregnant consult your doctor before taking this medicine. You should not take Benadryl One A Day if you if you are breast-feeding. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

What Benadryl One A Day is and what it is used for
Adults and children aged 6 years and over - Take one tablet a day. Children aged 6 to 12 years may take either half a tablet a day twice or one tablet a day Warning: Do not exceed state dose The tablets contain Cetirizine hydrochloride which is an antihistamine. It treats hayfever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) and year round allergies such as dust and pet allergies (perennial allergic rhinits). It can relieve symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing and watery or itchy eyes. It can also relieve urticaria (hives or itchy skin rash).
Before you take this medicine
Do not take if:
* You have ever had a bad reaction to any of the ingredients in this product, or any other antihistamine.
Take special care with Benadryl One A Day:
* As with all antihistamines, it is advisable to avoid excessive alcohol consumption when taking your tablet. * If you have kidney problems, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product. * The tablets do not normally cause drowsiness. However, individuals can react differently to treatment. If you are affected you should not drive or operate machinery, but should persist with the tablets as any drowsiness does not usually last a long time.
Pregnancy and Breast-feeding
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine whilst pregnant. You should not take this product if you are breast-feeding.
Important information about some of the ingredients in this medicine
When taken according to the dosage recommendations, each dose supplies up to 0.07 lactose. It is therefore unsuitable for people with lactase insufficiency, galactosaemia or glucose/galactose malabsorption syndrome.
How to take Benadryl One A Day
Adults and children aged 6 years and over should take one tablet daily. Children aged 6 to 12 years may take either half a tablet twice a day or one tablet daily. Each dose should be swalloweded with a glass of water. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
If you have taken more tablets than you should
If you have taken more tablets than you should, talk to your doctor or pharmacist immediately or go to your nearest accident & emergency (casualty) department as soon as possible.
If you forget to take your medicine
Take as soon as you remember but wait at least 24 hours before taking your next
The active ingredient in this product is Cetirizine hydrochloride 10 mg. The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose (E460), lactose, colloidal anyhdrous silica and magnesium stearate. The film coating contains hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171) and polyethylene glycol.
